Bluehelix’s mainnet has been officially launched and operated safely for one month and 24 days. The original ERC20 HBC was issued before the mainnet’s launch, BHEX has decided to destruct part of the ERC20 HBCs that issued by ETH’s mapping according to the circulation and usage in the market, so as to achieve the goal of reducing the circulation of ERC20 HBC to 4 million.
A total of 15,005,351 HBCs have been destroyed this time, including 10,862,449 HBC tokens repurchased by company funds, and HBC option held by the shareholders and teams. After the buyback-to- burn, these tokens will no longer circulate to the secondary market, but will be mined according to the economic model definition through node mining and liquidity mining on the Bluehelix’s mainnet. The HBCs that have been burned through the repurchase will not generate through mining.
HBC is the main network token of the Bluehelix public chain, with an initial total issuance of 21 million, and 1,994,649 of the tokens have been repurchased and burned. The total circulation of HBC mainnet tokens in the whole network is 8,142,902, including 4,266,220 issued via cross-chain on ETH and HECO chain. The number of the tokens that will be issued in the future through node and liquidity mining and casting is 10,862,449 included in this burn.
These destructed HBC will no long be circulated to the secondary market, while will be redistributed to users who participated in node operation and contributed to the cross-chain bridge and HDEX liquidity in Bluehelix ecology through blockchain mining, which can further facilitate the healthy development of Bluehelix ’s public chain ecology.
